We are very pleased to announce that Cornwall Physiotherapy has moved into a larger and newly renovated location. This move is in connection with our continuous efforts in providing the best possible services to our patients. The new location is conveniently located at 17373 South Branch Road with free parking and provides easy access for those with gait and mobility issues.

There will also be five new registered Massage Therapists to start in September as well as a Naturopathic doctor to begin providing services to patients. Moreover, Cornwall Physiotherapy now offers OHIP services with no additional charge to the patient other than the assessment fee – very good news indeed.

PT Health is pleased to announce the recent opening of HAND THERAPY SERVICES at – In Motion Physiotherapy and Hand Therapy in White Rock, BC, and at Glover Physiotherapy and Hand Therapy in Langley, BC.

Certified Hand Therapists can assist with everything from splinting, early wound care, swelling management, dressings, suture and staple removal, through to strengthening and activities of daily living including and return to work.

Services offered are approved WorkSafeBC Hand Therapy Service Providers for upper limb injuries. Certified Hand Therapists (CHT’s) evaluate each patient to identify their specific needs and provide them with an individualized therapy program. CHT’s are registered Physiotherapists and Occupational Therapists who have a minimum of 4,000 hours of direct upper extremity rehabilitation experience and have successfully completed the comprehensive American Hand Therapy Certification Examination. They must maintain their CHT designation through minimum practice hours and ongoing education requirements. The Certified Hand Credential offers assurance that the therapist has achieved the highest level of competency in the profession and stays up to date with practice within the field.
