PT Health Team Participates In 6th Annual Health Care Professional Conference

Continuous education and the passion for updated information is a must in the health care profession. In line with this purpose as well as following the mission and vision of PT Health to provide patients with the highest quality services, several PT Health team members participated in this year’s Heath Care Professional Conference.

On June 4th, 2010, Becky Maher, Jill Renowitzky, Adam Kelly, and Brian Yu represented PT Health in the said gathering of health care providers, which was specially aimed at clinical and physical rehabilitation providers, and other health care professionals. The conference was a day filled with presentations from experts of various health care fields as well as comprehensive workshops.

Subject topics included Medication Management for Pain Rehabilitation, The Diagnosis and Treatment of Somatization and Conversion Disorder (Case studies), among others.Aside from the ongoing education and learning of the newest developments in the field, attendants were also given the chance to network and interact with fellow colleagues in the profession. Attendees included physiotherapists, occupational therapists, nurses, disability managers, and physicians.

The 6th Annual Health Care Professional Conference was hosted by WorkSafeBC’s Health Care Services at Coast Coal Harbour Hotel.
